One page you can read in any browser with everything Unison holds about you — your details, your Sundays away, every service you were on, the songs you added.
Open your profile (the avatar, top right) and scroll to Your data. Tap Download my data.
What you get is one file, `unison-my-data-<date>.html`. Open it and it reads like a document — headings, plain words, no brackets — in any browser, on a phone or a laptop, with no internet connection. It holds your name, email and phone; which churches you belong to and since when; every Sunday you marked yourself away; every service you were on, what you played and whether you led it; your rota slots and answers; swap and cover requests; your personal songs in full; the title, artist and date of every song you added to a church (the words belong to the church); notes and vocal marks you last edited; your key and capo preferences; support tickets you opened; and invitations sent to you or by you. Nothing about anyone else.
Two buttons at the top, and the same two at the bottom. Save as PDF opens your browser's own print box — choose "Save as PDF" in there; Unison does not make the PDF for you. Save the original file (.json) hands over the machine-readable copy, exactly as it always was, for anything that needs to read it rather than a person: it is carried inside the page, so you can save it later, offline, without asking us again.
About this file, the last section on the page, says in words what this is and when it was made, why we hold each thing, who else sees it (your church's leaders, and the companies that host, email and back up for us, named one by one), how long we keep each kind of record, where the data came from, what your rights are, and that you can complain to the ICO.
Some things are folded away behind a Show… link rather than printed flat: what you wrote in a support ticket, the note you left when you asked for cover, and the words and chords of your own songs. They are all still in the file — a tap opens them — but a page about you should not put "hospital" on the screen in front of whoever is stood next to you.
On an iPhone or iPad the share sheet opens — save to Files, or send it anywhere, then tap the file to read it. On a laptop the file downloads; double-click it and it opens in your browser. If neither happens, Unison shows a summary on screen with a Copy button.
It needs a connection. Offline, the button is greyed out. If two-step verification is on, you'll be asked to sign in with your code first.
Unison acts for your church for most of this — your church is responsible for its rota, and Unison keeps it on the church's behalf. Your login is ours. This file covers both.
