Two things nobody else gets right

Built around how a band actually plays

Transposing tab

Guitar & bass tab that moves with the key

Change the key and the tablature transposes with it — every fret shifts, the string letters stay put, bar lines hold their spacing, and a note below the open string lifts an octave so it stays playable. Capo the song and the tab doesn't move, because you're fingering the same shapes.

Set keys never touch your library

When a leader puts a song in D for Sunday, that key lives on that service only. Your library keeps the song's home key, and every player can sit their own personal key on top — three independent layers, so nobody's transposition ever stomps on another's.

Present

Put the words on the screen — with zero extra prep

Stop retyping lyrics into PowerPoint every week. Present turns tonight's set into a full-screen, audience-facing lyrics view — big type, one section per slide, backgrounds and a clean stage display. The words on the screen are the same words the band is reading, in the same order.

Drive it from the laptop with any clicker or keyboard, or from a phone — the remote shows the words on the wall and the words coming next, so whoever is advancing the slides can watch the room instead of the screen. Works offline — if the church wifi drops mid-song, the screen keeps going.

On the screen

What the congregation sees — the same words the band is reading.

Everything for Sunday

The features that win worship teams over

Works with no signal

Church basement, back of a venue — your charts, sets and rota are all there, and edits sync the moment you're back online. This is the whole point.

A stage view that reads under lights

Full-bleed and always dark, with autoscroll you can nudge, Bluetooth foot-pedal support, and a metronome with tap-tempo.

One tap to any key

Transpose the whole song instantly, with correct enharmonic spelling (B♭, not A♯), slash chords and capo — no re-writing charts on a Sunday.

Plan a service in minutes

Build the set, set each song's key so the band plays together, pick who's on. It opens on everyone's device, in their key.

A rota that respects the rules

Auto-fill a fair schedule: nobody double-booked, the MD already playing, a four-team rotation for 5th Sundays — then swaps & cover in a tap, on Plus and Pro.

Everyone's part, together

Vocal parts and per-service keys, so singers see their line and players see the chart — and a private tab that only you see, transposed to your key.

Reports on what you've played

Song usage overall, per worship leader, by year, busiest keys — straight from the data the app already has.

One church can't see another's

Multi-tenant with row-level security on every table, tested. Your church's library, sets and people stay yours.

Installs like a real app

Add to your home screen on Android or iPhone, or the dock on Mac — no app store, no download, just a tap.

Common questions

The things worship leaders and church treasurers ask before switching.

Is it really free to try?
Yes — the full app, your whole team, for 30 days with no card. You only pay if you decide to keep it, and your songs and data carry straight over.
Do we need to be technical to run it?
No. It's built for volunteers, not IT departments — there's nothing to install on a server and nothing to maintain. If your team can use WhatsApp, they can use Unison. Signing in takes one tap.
Can we bring our existing songs?
Yes. Import OnSong, OpenSong (including a whole backup) and any ChordPro or plain chord chart, or just paste one in. Importing merges — it never overwrites what you already have.
What devices does it work on?
Any of them — Android, iPhone, iPad, Mac and PC. It's one web app that installs to your home screen or dock, so the whole team can be on whatever they already own.
Is there a contract or lock-in?
None. Pay monthly or annually and cancel any time from Stripe's portal, and you keep everything until the end of the period you've paid for. And your library is plain ChordPro text you can export whenever you like — your songs stay yours.
How is it different from the big platforms?
The others are either heavy systems built for big production teams, or great chord apps that live on one person's phone. Unison is one affordable app that does charts, sets and the rota for your whole team — a church plant, a single team, or a church running several services a Sunday — and it keeps working with no signal, which nothing else leads with.
What about our CCLI licence?
You hold your church's CCLI licence, as you always have. Unison does not supply song content — your church adds the songs it is licensed for, by typing, pasting or importing them. There is no SongSelect or CCLI integration and none is planned. What Unison does give you is a record of what you played, ready for whatever your licence asks you to report.
Is our church's data private?
Yes. Every church is walled off with row-level security on every table (tested), so no other church can ever see your songs, sets or people. Card details go straight to Stripe and are never stored by us.
We're a small team — is it worth it?
Especially then. The Essentials plan is priced for a single team or a church plant, and the time it gives your worship leader back — no more Saturday-night rota scramble — is the whole value.
